More News on Alabama Schools

I came across more news about Alabama today, Alabama schools are awaiting their AP (Advanced Placement) test results as they had put Alabama first in the nation in improved student performance!

According to the article it showed student had a 17.7% increase in the number of students scoring a passing grade on AP tests. It also stated that the State also showed significant improvement in the total number of students taking the tests, as well as the number of minority students participating, and their scores.

As a parent to 4 children in school, I have to say I am impressed! The kids come home every night with homework...homework that I hardly understand. The teachers truly care about their students and make it a point to help. If a parent notices something "not right" or has a concern, all it takes is a phone call or an e-mail to the teacher(s).

It really makes a difference to be in a great school district. Montgomery County, MD schools are also amazing!
