My Spring Renewal.....

Wow, it has been some time since I have actually written a blog entry. My life has been wonderfully busy...with that my Spring Renewal Blog.

It started with my blogging here on ActiveRain. I met the most brilliant person, Elizabeth Cooper-Golden of @ Homes Realty Group here in Huntsville. She was pursuing me for some time and really needed agents that she could trust. Me. I was beyond words and was very flattered. But, I was set in my old ways, in my old company, doing my same old things with hopes that my business would pick up.

With the start of the New Year I decided that THIS is going to be my year, my families year. I absolutely HATE change but know that it is a big part of life and you just need to follow your heart and instincts. I took a chance when my Husband and I moved to Huntsville, AL from the Cleveland, Ohio area. Leaving my entire family and coming to a place where I knew not one person. It was one of the BEST decisions we have ever made. I just had to keep that in mind. Compared to that, changing Companies would be nothing.

February 4th was the day I decided to take the leap of faith. I accepted Elizabeth's proposal and immediately went to work with Elizabeth…the referrals came rolling in and FAST. I have been so busy in this past month than I ever was last year and I LOVE IT. With my new WONDERFUL Company comes my "spring renewal and cleaning".

Diane Casale, Business Card

I now have a fast, efficient filing system, working on a new and exciting web page to incorporate @Homes Realty Group's page, made a Fan Page on Facebook, setting up all my contacts on a “drip” campaign, going to be getting two new designation this year (even if it kills me-lol), throwing out all my junk that I have been saving for years, and really just having a blast with Real Estate again!

With my occupational renewal also comes my personal renewal. With a year worth of doing practically nothing except sitting at my computer HOPING the leads come to me, came a few extra pounds (okay, 15 to 20), which is now on its way out the door (how can it not when you are so busy that you are filling your gas tank up 2x a week?!?). My family plays a huge part in everything I do. I plan on making them a priority and setting aside time for each and every one of my 4 children-I am becoming more active in the PTA at Farley Elementary School and am even heading the "Campus Clean-Up Day" on April 2, 2011. I plan on making my wonderfully patient husband a priority and plan on a "date" night for just the two of us (and maybe even a vacation)....wow, it truly is amazing how much just one change in your life can effect many aspects of your life...for the BETTER.

I just want to tell Elizabeth Cooper-Golden, THANK YOU. Thank you for (gently) pushing me to take that first baby step. It has made a major change in just about everything I do.

I love what I do again, Real Estate.  If you are thinking about making a change in ANY aspect of your life, follow your heart and listen to your mind. The answer is right in front of you. You just need the courage to go foward and take the "Leap of Faith".

Diane, I can hear the energy in your voice, the renewed focus, the appreciation of Elizabeth who I agree is an amazing woman, and I love your balance with your family and work, which I harp on constantly. Onward and upward into the rest of the year. I am very proud of your example.

Diane, the very best of prosperity to you.  Most agents aren't even bold enough to work towards designations, let alone believe in themselves enough to find an office with the right fit.  I didn't find it until I opened my own office with a partner.  Now, I share in your bliss!

You didn't mention which designations are on tap for this year, but let me give an endorsement for GRI.

Good luck to you and thanks for the post.

Diane - Thanks for taking the time to post this.  I have been praying for and working on renewal myself and your blog was extremely uplifting.  I am happy for you and your family.  The Huntsville area is blessed to have you there.

Thanks again!! Enjoy your weekend.

@Tim, thanks.

@Pamela, thanks so much. Right back at ya!

@Mona, I know that not many regular people know what the designations are, but I love to gain new insight on our industry. Every designation received is that much more you learn. I definitely want  a "Luxury" designation and either my GRI or CRS this year. I am glad you found that "bliss" as well. Good luck to you and your office!!

@Rachell, this means a lot to me. Thank you. You will know what the right thing to do is. If you have that drive...you can achieve anything! Which brings me to Elizabeth...

@Elizabeth, YEAY!! I am truly thankful for you!
